After relocating to Apex, NC near the Raleigh-Durham area, I have chronicled some of the restaurants I have discovered, recipes I have tried, friends I have made and stores I have discovered.  I try to keep this area updated at least weekly.     It’s Christmas Eve and my daughter asked what kind of cookies to make for Santa. I looked at the pack of cookies that you just throw into the oven for 24 minutes and decided that Santa deserved better. “I know what he would like, the same ones I used to help my mom make”.
